Anybody hacked on SLIP lately? I can't figure out how to retrieve the
interface number, given a tty device which has just been set to SLIP
line discipline. In this case, multiple SLIP interfaces could be
active, so I need something foolproof; making guesses based on
ifconfig and netstat output is a poor substitute. Any ideas?
