I think compiling the Motif libraries would be a fine idea. However, we
don't have an X11 source tree for NetBSD around at the moment. The
stuff in x11r5 should be a fine set of libraries to start with, and you
can check out the Imake config stuff in /usr/X386/lib/X11/...
