Hi,
	It is possible the AFS modules you compiled and installed lst
night might be buggy, We were hosing the machine rather badly
(setuid gdb login, severlal emacses and xterms, xzewd, etc..) and them machine
hung (completely), so we rebooted.
	It could also be the xextereme load sdoing something funky..
