I think it's time to pick a desupport date for the last release
of SIPB Linux-Athena (based on Redhat 5.2) and NetBSD-Athena (based on
NetBSD 1.3.2). The Athena portion of both of these releases is two
years out of date at this point, and both OSes are significantly crufty.

I suggest that we announce the end of this calendar year as the
desupport date for both of these platforms, and that we send mail to
linux-announce and netbsd-announce stating this soon. Then, as of this
coming IAP, we would no longer be obligated to keep build machines of
the appropriate platforms around or to provide locker software for these
platforms, and would encourage people looking for a PC Athena solution
to run I/S Linux Athena, installed with our installer or not as
necessary.

	Comments?
