i have a sparc port of netbsd-athena (based on 1.4.1) kicking around
that i want to release.
the big question i have is what should i use to differentiate it from
netbsd-athena/i386 in os-specific subdirectories?
for example, packs/config/os/netbsd/cluster.fallback is different for
the sparc platform than it is for the i386 platform. currently my
solution is to use Makefile hacks, but that seems unclean.
second, i'm using deberg-sparcbsd-83 as a filsys entry pointing at an
NFS server. can this move to a more reasonable place in
/afs/sipb/system?
third, i'm waiting for nathan to do another 8.3 import (and an answer to
the first question), then plan on sending diffs to
sipb-source-reviewers.
fourth, i might wait on 1.4.2. i suppose this should mirror the
decision for the i386 port if that actually happens. i have an update
script for that lying around, btw, but i don't think that's what's
holding us up on that front.
