I've already released AFS 3.3a bits for arm32.  (I've moved forward to
3.3a so that there's some chance of alpha support working).

Sources are in the CVS repository 
	/afs/sipb/project/afs/repository

and are currently on the "netbsd-merge" branch.

I'll pick up your PowerPC port and merge it in as well; if you can
point me at a powerpc-based machine with a stable 1.4 installation,
I'll even release a build.
