I've been putting together the athena-side patches and builds
for a patch release, but one motivation for the patch release was the
release of NetBSD 1.3.3. However, due to some problems in 1.3.3, as
well as some other longstanding problems that were fixed after 1.3.3,
there's going to be a 1.3.4 in "not too long" (say, mid-to-late
February). The options I see are as follows:

	1) Do the 8.2.3 release with 1.3.3.
	2) Wait and do the 8.2.3 release with 1.3.4.
	3) Do the 8.2.3 release without an OS update and wait
for 1.3.4 to happen, then do another release with the OS
	   update.
	4) Grab the current post-1.3.3 patches from the release
branch, apply them to our 1.3.3 tree, and build our
	   own binaries.

Opinions? I'm currently leaning towards 3.
