I'd like us to make a release branch in the sipb-athena tree for the
NetBSD-Athena release. Otherwise we won't be able to sync from the
mainline without potentially destabilizing our NetBSD-Athena release
with changes like the Larvnet stuff.
It is telling that we are most comfortable with making a release based
on Athena software which is in release form. I'd be willing to change
our version number to 8.2 and assume that we won't make SIPB-Athena
releases much more often than Athena makes releases. (If we do make a
minor release before next summer, nothing stops us from doing an 8.3
before Athena does.)
