It'd be really neat, and not _too_ hard, to have the NetBSD install
process install appropriate magic into /var/db/pkg/ to register the
athena copy of perl5 (and anything else relevant) with the package
system, so that if you try to install packages that depend on perl5,
it recognizes the copy in /usr/athena and doesn't install another copy
in /usr/pkg.

Not likely for the 8.0 release, I know.

I'll probably implement this in my copious free time if no one else
who has copiouser free time is psyched.
