The NetBSD-Athena system has stabilized a lot over the last
several weeks. I'm planning to bump it into beta after the latest set
of mainline Athena changes comes through. Those of you who have found
bugs and not reported them should consider this a last chance to bring
them up.
Unresolved issues:
- occasional AFS hangs early in install process
I have no idea about this anymore.
- disklabel and booting issues on large disks
Still need to try this myself on a system that triggers the problem.
- 7.7 upgrades
Being worked on. Extremely messy.
Since it's taken so long, the release is almost in sync with
the Athena 8.2 release. Would it be worthwhile to bump our version
number up to that, since the timing and content are both very close?
