I suspect that the work to compile libAFS 3.4a for NetBSD 1.2 would be
greater than anyone would want to put into it. Currently, AFS for
NetBSD (and Linux) is based on AFS 3.3. The work to port AFS 3.4a to
NetBSD is non-trivial. There is a port to 3.3a which is beginning
testing (for Linux only), and there is work of a port of 3.4a to Linux
underway as well, although that is much further behind.

The Linux port does include the netbsd code, so it may be possible for
the netbsd folk to build 3.3a (and 3.4a when that port is done). But
I cannot confirm this, since I'm a Linux person, not a netbsd person,
and I've never tried using the 3.3a code on netbsd.

Just FYI,
