OK. We _aren't_ using zsr for an SMP port, right? Are we even likely
to ever buy a replacement for the fried second pentium? If not, should
we be nice and give it back to whoever gave it to us to give to
someone who really is going to do that?

Some of the effort in this direction has been delayed a bit (delay
in donated hardware), but should be picking up in the near future I hope..

Anyone out there with multiprocessor boards that feels like helping:
great, get in touch with me (for the 386-specific parts at least).
