AFS for NetBSD/pmax?

I've been working with the pmax port of NetBSD, and would like to see
AFS ported to it. I sent mail to John Kohl, and he suggested I ask on
this mailing list, to see if anyone here would be willing/interested
in giving it a try.
John did say:
The hard part will be reworking it as a static file system rather than a
loaded module (PMAX doesn't support LKMs yet).
