token problems with NetBSD-AFS

    I'm running NetBSD/i386 current (sup'ed mid-July), and
libafs1_2_BETA.o.1.36. Most things have worked just fine. However, I
recently tried compiling CMU's authentication-forwarding telnetd, which
seems to use ktc_SetToken() and ka_GetAFSTicket() to get the token from
the remote site and store it locally. It works on the campus machines,
but my version does some strange things. Since none of the campus
machines are NetBSD, I'm not sure if it's a problem with NetBSD-AFS, or
something else. Everything compiled cleanly with -Werror, so I don't
think it's a bad parameter, but I'm not sure (I wish I had access to AFS
sources!!! =)

Anyhow, when ktc_SetToken() is called, a *4GB* file is created, such
as /tkt/p3. ka_GetAFSTicket() then starts writing to this file, which
needless to say fills the HD before completing (I WISH I had 4GB of free
space! =). So it doesn't exactly seem to be a valid ticket file (and
tf_util agrees).

Has anybody seen this before? Does this sound like a bad parameter,
or is this some kind of problem in the AFS libraries?

I'd appreciate any help people could offer. Thanks in advance.

                                                          Will Ferry
