could you point out what's wrong with xdsc? I think I've used it
and had no problems, though not being a regular user of the
program, I probably wouldn't know the difference...

I tried using the driver to help somebody install on his machine.
it failed to recognize his SCSI controller.. I don't know
what this means for stability or anything, but just a point to notice.
