Using granola today, I noticed that the processes started to hang.
I got into the debugger and found:
_syscall() at _syscal+0X174
 syscall (number 93)

I was running tin, having just saved a abunch of files into /tmp,
and it was probably updating my .newsrc (in AFS). In the other
window I was running...  I forget.  I was also running zwgc and nawm;
I don't think I was running anything else.
