I added code to fdisk to look at existing partition entries to find
the translated geometry (by looking for two existing mappings which
constitute solvable simultaneous equations). I've checked this code
into the NetBSD source tree, and updated the fdisk on sipb-nfs so that
makepart will work correctly for people (in most cases) who install
from now on.
As I noted in my commit message, this is not the right answer to the
problem, but it will work most of the time and I don't know enough
about the boot loader to implement the right answer.
