Hm.
I can understand not wanting users to be able to load
user-supplied drivers. I think I had been hoping that
the was some standardized view of USB Storage, in the way
that there appears to be a standard USB HID (Human Interface
Device) interface for keyboards and mice.
I'm nearly certain you can use a USB keyboard without the need to
install extra drivers. It is a shame that USB storage does not
have a similarly simple interface. Maybe I am being misled by
the fact that the user had a USB camera, instead of a USB disk.
