To Whom It May Concern:

I hear from the SIPB web site that your currently developing an NT-based box
for project purposes. I believe I can help. My name is Kevin Weston and
I'll be a frosh this year. I have over 7 years of NT experience involving
everything from User-management to Domain management, more advanced network
configs, web/ftp/etc servers, SQL servers, Proxy servers, and pretty much
anything else you can think of. There's not much NT does that I'm not
familiar with. I guess I'm not at all like most of the SIPB volunteers: I
have very little UNIX and Linux experience (I just put linux on my machine
this week and am looking into freeBSD). However when it comes to Microsoft
products (I really truly am ashamed of this... I hate the company and it's
products - except NT of course) I am pretty well qualified.

Just for reference, I'm writing this from work. Today is my last day
working at Jefferson Banks (PA, NJ) where I've spent two years beginning as
an NT network tech and progressing through applications-development to
Intranet/Internet development. We've converted our Novell network
completely to an NT platform with about a thousand users and dozens of
servers. I am proud to say, though, that we had NO intranet until I began
the project and we've only recently begun to implement online financial
applications.

But anyway, I've got a few more things to do here before I go so I'll say
bye for now. And please don't reply to this address (it is my last day
here). Instead, you can send mail to ktw@ccil.org (my current home
address).

Thanks for listening to me gloat. I look forward to seeing you (and the
rest of the SIPB volunteers) next week.

Kevin Weston
Intranet Developer
