This note is mostly for community memory of the status of
DeathTongue...
DeathTongue has been giving errors on login/logout, when it tries
to synchronize files. The error dialog box is:
Offline Files (\\afs\all on afs): Error accessing 'WinData' on \\afs\all. The media is write protected.
[[followed by 9 lines in subdirectories of WinData, like:]]
Offline Files (\\afs\all on afs): Error accessing 'My Documents' on \\afs\all\WinData. The media is write-protected.
[[etc]]
I sent mail to <pismere-bugs@mit.edu>, and their recomendation
was to disable off-line files. I haven't implemented the
recommendation yet; I've got other things to worry about right
now. Maybe I (or someone else) will get to it later.
