I agree completely, though I don't see how a reliable language would make for
reliable code. I do see that simplicity would go a long way, but simplicity
isn't everything (take a look at Tcl). I think the ease with which code can be
understood has something to do with it as well, and the best way to do this is
to represent what you want done (the code) in a way that's as close to the human
way of working/thinking as possible. That's one of the reasons that I think op-overl.
could be a boon. I think people look too much to C++ when they think of op-overl.
C++ is complex and difficult to maintain or understand but I wonder what kind
of experiences people have with other languages that support op-overl. (and I
don't mean experiences with "cool" programmers who think op-overl. is great
and therefore start using "<<" to print a string to a file ;)
