It is true that none of these are available yet.

There's work being done by an external group.  There is an externally-run mailing
list dealing with Linux issues.  See http://java.sun.com/Mail/external_lists.html.
The work is being done on alpha3 sources.

You don't need native threading support to port Java -- we do our own threads
on Solaris, for instance.  There will probably be Java-enabled browsers on 3.1,
perhaps HotJava, perhaps others.

This system will be released very soon.

What about the FAQ link on http://java.sun.com/ ?  There's a lot of information
accessible from that page that's not specifically FAQ, too.

We have not announced when the beta will be released, but we certainly intend
to get it out this year.
