<>> people,
<>> this is true nature of this kind of topics in the net.
<>> Solutions to this problem for several days are as follows:
<>> 1. moderate the list. needs a good volunteer.
<>> 2. put the rules, and apply them to all of the users, such as:
<>> a) send mails in topics, like
<>> INFO: for your info, announcement of a new site
<>> SUMMARY: java window error
<>> QUESTION: awt class documnetation
<>> topics can be extended when needed to..
<>> b) do not send any answers to questions directly to the list.
<>> rather use, direct mail. But the question asker MUST summarize everything
<>> and send in a SUMMARY file.

For our members with electronic mail, the Sun User Group maintains an
electronic mailing list. The mailing-lists are available only as a
benefit of membership in the Sun User Group or Java-SIG.

The Sun User Group list: The list is a forum for the discussion
of the needs of SUG members, both from
the user group and from vendors. It's
one of the best routes on the
                                information superhighway for quick
                                answers to technical questions. It
also provides SUG with a fast and easy
way to alert users to new developments
in user group, such as new member
                                benefits or late-breaking conference news.

The Java-SIG list: The Java-SIG list is a moderated list,
designed to provide its subscribers with only
the most pertinent and useful information.
Get Java code tips, real answers to real
questions, see job postings, and more -- but
                        not too much more.

If you would like to be added to either electronic mailing list, be
sure to check off the appropriate box on the membership application
below, and include a valid e-mail address.

                          *THE WEBSITE*
