Have U had a panel (No layout manager) with List controls in it and run
the applet on Win 95.

Prob 1 : I tried it but the list controls do not get displayed in Win95 env.
whereas the same application works well on Solaris.

Bad Soln : Found out somehow that List are better viewed through some
Layout manager. OK taken, accepted and used the great GridBagLayout
List controls are pleased and show there pretty faces (peers) on the
screen. Relieved.

Prob 2: They do show up but do not behave well. They like to go slow
and peicewise (Items) taking off what they have on them. Well would
have been pleasing thing to do inreal life but not here ....

Bad Soln 2 : The clear method of List did not work well for me in the
win95 env. so used delItems()

But then the heavens turned on me and I am having fun with my L...s.

Hope the information is usefull to somebody out there having tough time
with his L...s

Bye
