I have found this to be a great reference on Java. It is also pretty
inexpensive, I got it for $14.95, (at Stacy's in Palo Alto) but it is
usuall at $19.95.

The Java Primer Plus is also a good book, and it includes a reference at
the back. I find the nutshell book to be more handy, easier to deal
with, but sometimes when I want a more detailed explanation I pop over
to the Java Primer Plus.

I still think the nutshell book is the best Java book yet, and I have
practically all of them.

PS: Symantec Cafe is also GREAT.
