Please could anybody tell me if there is some way I can gather information
about the user from Java, eg. their e-mail address, their name ?
I am planning to write a database application, where the user is
required to provide some information about themselves and so
it would be good if I could include information which is already
known about the user as a default.
Another purpose for this information is to determine whether a user
can have access to certain functions, without the pain of entering
a password.
