It's probably worth noting to this group that this exists:

They don't yet have object manipulation in the universe, but they do have
real-time first-person-point-of-view motion and the ability to communicate
with other users (both severally and collectively).  And it works well
enough on a 486-66 with a 14.4 modem to be tolerable, if not great.  You
do need to be running Windows, and you do need to let it install WinG if
you don't already have it.
