Netscape/Java URL location bug?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to update Netscape's "Location" line?
When I do a getAppletContext.showDocument(URL) the location line does not
change but the page does. The Location line does change IF I use the
_blank or <target> strings to bring up a NEW browser window but I don't
want to do that.
Is this a bug?
