I'm writing a little sprite library that needs to draw to the screen.
But I want to clip the drawing to the sprite. But the java func to clip sets
the clip to the INTERSECTION of the old + new rectangle!!!
Where is the function to set it to an absolute area?
So each time g.clipRect, if the sprite is moving, the clipping area
gradually gets smaller and smaller! Especially since I'm drawing a number of
sprites at different points on the screen, and they don't intersect at all.
Aagh! How do I get round this?
Seems even on 'update' the area doesn't get cleared, when is the clipping
area reset?
As a hack is there any message I can pass to the system to tell it clear a
Graphics device cliprect?
tia for any help.
