Just a stupid question:
are there any ohter platforms currently supported besides the
two pre-compiled ones? I mean are those two pre-compiled releases
(Solaris and NT) the only ones that they bothered to put on the
ftp-site or are there no other platforms supported (for the time
being)??

[Moderator: The systems on the ftp site are the only ones available from
us. We are working on some additional ones, as documented on our WWW pages,
and various external groups are also making good progress on some other
ports. When anything is generally available, we will announce it and
make it available for ftp.
Yes, we are temporarily moderating the mailing lists again, as there's
apparently something that's bouncing java-interest and hotjava-interest
mail back to the mailing list...when we figure that out we'll go back
to unmoderated lists.]
