Can someone give some pointers (or should I say references) on using the
various debuggers out there?
The Borland thing I can get to read my source and set breakpoints, but it
seems to hang on stuff almost immediately. From the feel of it, it seems way
too early alpha to be useful - if anyone has had good results with this
please let me know and I'll persevere.
For Sun's debugger, I assume this only works with Java applications, not
applets.
So if I want to debug a graphical applet do I need to create a whole 'host'
application that will create a graphics context to draw into then call the
applets 'paint' method with a 'Graphics' handle to use? If so, then can I
download such a skeleton from somewhere!!?
Are there any other tools that can help with this process?
_any_ info would be appreciated.
BTW Within an application, is the same 'Runnable' interface/method calling
structure available? If I declare 'implements Runnable' will the
interpreter/VM give the app 'run' events?
