how to get the parent?

hi java denizens,
i have a class F that extends Frame containing a class extending Panel A,
which in turn contains another class extending Panel B. when i click a mouse
in B, i'd like to invoke a method in F. how can i obtain the instance
name of F whose method i invoke? i hope, i explained myself coherently,
it makes sense to me ;-)
