paramString() bug?

Hi all,
Here's the scenario:
I put up a Java Frame (Window) and get the paramString(). Coordinates
(Window location) are 0,0. Move the window and the coordinates remain 0,0.
Resize the window and get paramString() and the coordinates show up
correctly, but will remain the same until the next resize.
This is running under Win95.
I am also having problem with screen updates.
