Anyone know how to get a server socket and client socket going on a stand
alone machine not on a network? Our client socket/server socket
code works fine unless the machine isn't on a network, in which case
there is no host name returned for getLocalHost(). Is there a client
socket constructor that doesn't require the hostName, or any other
hack we could use? This is actually being used to get around the
applet communication across Netscape frames I've sent notes about before.
It'll do for now... Regards, Erik.
