There appears to be an inconsistancy with the Scrollbars on the
Windows NT/95 platform and those on SunOS (and perhaps other Unix'es).
The problem has to do with the "visible" parameter in ScrollBar.setValues().
Let's say I start with a scrollbar created like so:
ScrollBar sb=new ScrollBar(1,0,vis.height,0,bounds().height-vis.height);
Where vis is some size Dimension that defines the size of the entire
page, and is assumed to be greater than the current bounds. You would
expect that this scrollbar would stay within 0 and
(vis.height-bounds().height). This is exactly what happens on Windows
95/NT. BUT, if you take this scrollbar and put it on a SunOS platform,
and now the scrollbar goes from 0 to vis.height! Note, that I used
Netscape 2.0b6 for both platforms. Is this a Java problem or a Netscape
problem?
