Has anyone else experienced flaky behavior with Component's clearRect
in Netscape 2.0 for Solaris 2.4? I have an applet which all of a
sudden (with the release of 2.0) stopped having the usual behavior for
update(), i.e., the Component wasn't havint the background color drawn
before the paint(). I then manually overloaded the update method to
explicitly clearRect, and still nothing happens.
Of course this still works fine from appletviewer (JDK-1.0).

Perhaps this is just my installation? But everything else seems to
be working fine!
