My "homemade" component (subclass of canvas) passes the Event.MOUSE_DOWN
event to the parent window, but the supplied List component doesn't. I know
this because I display "Mouse Down!" whenever the mouse button is pressed.
I get the "Mouse Down!" message when I click anywhere on my own component,
and when I click anywhere on the window, but not when I click inside the
List (or double-click).
The List was added to the window and layout manager the exact same way as my
own component, so I wouldn't think this should be a problem.
Come to think of it, my own component is just Canvas with some extra
functionality, so why should Canvas register mouse clicks when List doesn't?
