Yeah, this is a problem.
I've heard rumors here that Sun is planning on supporting audio capture,
both to stream and to an audio clip as well as playing audio from a stream.
Maybe they could publish the interface they are planning and then we
who need it could write our own native methods to solve the problem
in such a way as not to have to rewrite our code when the 'official' classes
are out...
