What's the deal with Java chips? What are the intended uses?
Are they for "Java accelarators" or full blown Java systems? And are
they an entirely new design, or just a lightweight RISC state machine
with a Java software (or firmware, or something) front end in front
to get Java translation happening without having to use a stack based
chip design? And how long have these things been in development, and
how long until they see the light of my computer?
