I am beginning to suspect that the net.ftp.FtpClient package
provided with the Alpha3 release is buggy. Hoever, the possibility
remains that the problem lies with the author's ineptitude. Using
the methods provided within the net.ftp.FtpClient package I have
successfully created a client-server connection between two machines.
However, using the get and put methods provided the result of the
intended file transfer is a zero-byte file (like a touch command).
Furthermore, the line following a get or put method is executed, at
least partially. However, the code hangs on the get and put methods.
Has anybody had a similar problem, or successfully implemented code
using the net.ftp.FtpClient package?
Thank You.
