--- I apologise if this is a duplicated message, the previous one I sent out
doesn't appear to have made it.
I am playing with the NT version of Java. I have a few quick questions:
1. I too have encountered the NT-sockets-don't close problem. Is there a
work-around? It's tough without the source!
2. Can somebody explain the file security system to me? Can an applet
_ever_ access the local file system? If so how? Perhaps this is
described somewhere in the doc's. If so I apologise - just point me to it.
It's tough without the source...
3. A simple question: can a thread be run again (start()'ed) once it is
stop()'ed? It's...
Thank you in advance for any assistance rendered.
BTW - keep up the great work - my imagination is going nuts with this
product. Thanks for injecting some exciting technology into my dark
Windows/OLE 2/MS/MS/MS world.
