Hi folks. Sorry to be a continued pain about java/makefile
problems, but I still can't get things to work properly.
I've put a link to ksh into /usr/bin/sun4 so at least
I'm past that error.
Now I'm trying to compile the native method demo included with
the Java release. (~/hotjava/doc/native) Everything in the
directories is unmodified from the relase.
When I fire make, this is what I get:
../../bin/javac demo/File.java
demo/File.java: /a: cannot execute
demo/File.java[2]: syntax error at line 2 : `(' unexpected
make: *** [File.class] Error 2
In demo/File.java, the lines it seems to choke on are comments!
I'm beginning to have a case of 'make envy' for those who are able
to make this work. :-(
