I can understand the effort. I origially thought of HotJava as a demo
vehicle like everyone
else. However as Netscape2.0b* continues to maintain too much control over
Java there are many
of us who were anxiously waiting for HotJavaII to come and unlock the power
of Java. I realize
it would be a tremendous effort to develop a WWW browser as cabable as
Netscape but given the
relationship between Nb4 + Java I would rather not let them set the standard.
Sorry Netscape, I really like you guys, but I want to have fun on the net.
Cookies and CGI
don't hack it.
