The current AppletContext interface does not provide any information
about the graphical context in which the applet is running.
Specifically, I'd like to know what the current Font is. I need
to write an applet that looks similar to an ordinary hyperlink, but
acts differently. Instead of linking to a new URL, the applet will
send a message to another application via a socket. The applet would
blend into the surrounding text, but would be highlighted in a different
color than that used for hyperlinks.

Is this possible and if not could it be added to the AppletContext in
a future release?
