Greetings folks....

Just a quick update on MAJUG. Still working on a site for meeting two.
For this meeting, I'd like to be able to get a bigger place then the
last time to handle the initial crowd. After that, we can breakup into
different groups of smaller sizes with different/specific interests
to keep meetings smaller and more focused. If people are interested in
multiple areas and have the time, they can go to the different meetings.

With regards to minutes from meeting one, they are now on-line (at
http://www.rssi.com/info/majug/meeting1.txt). Sorry for the delay. My
AWT Intro slides have been converted from PowerPoint to HTML and are at
http://www.rssi.com/info/majug/awtpres.html. (Its one big html file,
vs. each slide separately.) The graphics, classes, and source are
present. Now that Netscape V2 beta 4 is available on-line, I'll tell you
where the JavaScript slides from Frank Hecker's presentation are:

	http://www.access.digex.net/~hecker/netscape/majug/javascript

(Beta4 isn't officially out, but it is on Netscape's ftp sites at:
ftp://ftp.netscape.com/2.0beta
So, it is a beta of the beta. The presentation doesn't work without
beta4 unless you manually type in the html docs by looking at the
source.)

I am still keeping track of people who have offered to be speakers. If you
would like to be added, please let me know. No topic is too simple as
we would like to address both the new and advanced Java programmers' needs.
Anyone interested in presenting an Intro to Network Programming in Java
topic at a future meeting?

Thanx.... and sorry about the weather for meeting one.....
