Hi,
in this mailing-list I often noticed people having problems with Java
and netscape (beta 2 or beta 3).
Here is a list about things that work and things that doesn't:
- netscape can only load beta-applets
- netscape cannot load applets via "ftp://" or "file://" but only
via "http://". That means:
- If you want to load a java-applet, which is on a local file-system, you
need a www-server on your computer to load the applet. Then you can load it with
"http://localhost/....."
Hope that helps...
Ciao
