Hi Bruce,
We are in the middle of setting up the SouthernCal JUG. So far we are
beginning to get the word out, however the official start will be triggered
by the installation of our server and the related mailinglist. (sometime
December I think, we are getting the appropriate hardware right now :)
Although I just sent out only one proclamation of our intend, we already
received a number of interests. I think, it could be very beneficial for
the feedback of our group to hook up with you "old OOP guys". Feel free to
contact me anytime, if you have further questions or suggestions.

BTW, anybody interested in the SouthCal JUG: please don't hesitate to zap
us at: michael@w3media.com. We will squeeze you into our DB and wire you
back any news about our progress, especially once we're up and running.
