But would anyone at Sun care to comment about this stuff? I seem to recall
that at Java Day, during the question-and-answer session, someone asked
about the possibility of Sun creating a scripting language based on Java.
And the answer was that this would not be done, because Java is (to
paraphrase) "so easy that a scripting language is not needed". That was
what, a month ago? Things certainly are changing fast...
