I have a JDK applet that uses a few sound effects and I've run across
a problem. Once the applet is run I can't seem to get netscape to give
the audio device back - even when leaving the page with the applet. I
have to kill netscape to get it back. An I missing some clean-up step,
I currently just call mysound.stop(), or is there no way to alter this
unfriendly behavior from the applet? I'm running netscape2.0 b2 & b3 on a
sparc. The applet can be viewed on my home page but accessing it will
probably lock out your sound device. Also, I just have a 28.8k link
and the page takes a bit of time to fetch.
It will be good when netscape/hotjava uses a mixer (hint, hint).
