I can compile applets ... I compiling them left and right.
However, I can't run the stupid things. I'm compiling simple
applets to get a feel for the language. Some will run, some
won't. Before, I went through quite an ordeal before I found
out about the CLASSPATH environment variable; now it's set up.
Because some applets run proves that CLASSPATH is not the
issue and that the directory structure and file placement is
okay. I'm creating and compiling applets on a server running
Windows NT 3.51 and viewing them on a Client using Netscape
2.0b2 in the Windows 95 environment. Before this posting I
sent another outlining a simple applet which compiles, but
doesn't run ... the "infamous" "applet not initialized" error.
I feel like I've run into a wall ... what's the sense of
writing programs if I can't run them? (rhetorical :) ).
Once again, any help would be much appreciated. Let's slay
this "applet not initialized error" once and for all.

						John
